True to the customs of the Erzgebirge Mountains, I use plate technique for the production of my miniature tiled stoves. These little stoves are decorative in any season – but especially during the Christmas season. They are also used for decorative smoking ovens that burn the traditional scented candles from the region. The smoke going up from the chimney awakens memories of long-gone times – when you were sitting at the tiled stove as a kid, enjoying the cosy warmth.
